Accompanied by local guitarist Feri, Imelda Teo performed for Prudential Golf Charity (i n aid of NCC Research fund) which took place at Tanah Merah Country Club.
Pasir Ris-Punggol Town Council’s Appreciation Dinner was a hearty affair organised for ministers, employees, memebers and distinguished guests which took place at Orchid Country Club.
The gathering’s entertainment was provided by Red Kite starting with our emcee, Charissa Seet. Clad in a simple black dress, Charissa was a bubbly host who took her audience through the evening’s programme which included speeches by ministers including Mr. Teo Chee Hean and many others, presentation of awards and several entertainment segments that ended with a hearty karaoke session.
Local songbird Imelda Teo set the mood of the appreciation dinner with her rendition of songs which spanned several lanugages including English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay.
Finally came the karaoke session – the ‘hottest’ segment of the night. It kickstarted with the ministers including Mr. Micheal Palmer who graced the stage to perform a song for their fellow town council members which set the crowd in a karaoke frenzy as they sung merrily along.
Charissa Seet (emcee) posts for a photograph with Mr. Michael Palmer.
The Wedding Concierge allowed us to witness what we would describe as an action packed wedding, because there were shaolin monks breaking wood and throwing each other around in the middle of the ballroom. Of course, the music element was injected prior to and after this to provide the standard dinner entertainment for the guests, which they indubitably enjoyed as well.
Featuring Imelda, Wah Yong & James. And I bumped into Jeremy again, the very talented billingual emcee.
It’s almost a yearly tradition for us to take the stage at the Outdoor Theatre during CNY. This year, we had Singapore Char Siew Bao! come back on CNY eve, Imelda Teo & the Red Packets perform on Day1.
Dominic had dressed up as god of Fortune to give out chocolate coins to the crowd. That really hyped up everybody’s mood.
Imelda’s great on stage
